Pug Rescue of New England (PRoNE) is a non-profit 501(c)(3), all volunteer foster home based rescue organization.

A combined 60lb of pug. YES! These two are headed to Extreme Makeover : Pug Edition. Hard to believe but these two are SIX! They've been in foster care for a few weeks and are already beginning to slim down. Regular walks and less of a high quality food, combined with NO table scraps and they will be hitting the beach in style this summer!


We know they are cute, chubby butterballs, but honestly, this sort of excessive weight can cause all kinds of health problems with our beloved pugs. We will be looking for an owner dedicated to getting these two back to a healthy weight. Toby & Precious are friendly and love people. But we are looking for a home with no other dogs, though - because Precious is having some issues with the pug in their foster home. 


They are both vetted and UTD on shots. Toby has a dental scheduled on Feb 23, but both will be available shortly afterwards. 


REQUIREMENTS FOR TOBY & PRECIOUS


no other dogs in home (Precious prefers that)
an owner dedicated to daily walks (2 would be ideal) 
owner agrees to stick to the feeding regimen

A vet reference check, dog walker check (if applicable), landlord check (if applicable), a phone interview and home visit will be conducted prior to approval. Our mission is simple: we find homes for abandoned and surrendered pugs in New England. Our pugs will be UTD on shots and spayed or neutered prior to adoption. You must be a resident of New England (New York residents carefully considered).


PRoNE is supported by adoption fees, donations and funds raised through auctions and events. Adoption fees range from $150-$500.
